Combat Sports gear is a welcome addition to the legendary Adidas range, and it’s endorsed for BJJ by world champion three times over, Clark Gracie, who has become an ambassador for Adidas in the sport.
The Adidas brand has a distinctive logo with three parallel bars, or a trefoil of leaves with the bars in inverse. You may have heard that the name Adidas stands for All Day I Dream About Sports, but actually that’s not true. The brand was named after the man who started the company in the first place - Adolf (Adi) Dassler. Adidas originated in 1949, when Adi’s older brother Rudolf split from their business to form another sport’s giant, the brand now known as Puma. It became a name that’s synonymous with sports shoes, which was the original trade of the Dassler brothers.
When you search for the adidas brand in our online store, you’ll find gear and equipment in a few different combat sports, as well as some items that can be used across different disciplines, and bags that you can use to transport equipment.
